Cards and CB's shooting
💰 Punt: Over 4.0 Asian Total Cards 🧀
📗 Bookie: Bet365
🎲 Odds: 2.000 (1/1)
⚽️ Game: Preston vs. Burnley
It’s like groundhog day. There’s another Lancashire derby on the tele and Andrew Kitchen is the man in the middle. I’m asking him to change his ways.
It was just over a month ago when Kitchen officiated the El Lanclasico between Burnley and Blackburn. He blew his whistle 34 times for fouls yet there was only 3 cards given for fouls and an additional one for time wasting. When Preston and Burnley met back in October there were 7 yellow cards yet only 22 fouls, 4 cards were shown for dissent, 2 for fouls and Preston keeper Freddie Woodman was booked for time wasting, in the 44th minute no less. Both managers saw yellow as well, NEEDLE!

Bet365’s asian card market gives you the safety net of money back if there were only 4 cards and I’d have this line at 4.5 or possibly 5.0 personally, Over 4.0 Asian Total Cards @ 2.000 (1/1) is a bet for me in the early televised kick-off in The Championship.
Preston are committing the most fouls in The Championship at 13.5 per game whilst Burnley now rank 7th with their average dropping down to 12.2 fouls per game. Preston are the 6th most fouled team in the league being fouled 11.6 times per game whilst Burnley are the 19th most fouled team in the league winning 10.4 fouls per game.
PUNTS:
Over 4.0 Asian Total Cards @ 2.000 (1/1) - Bet365
Over 2 Cards for Preston and Over 2 Cards for Burnley @ 7.00 (6/1) - Bet365 🧀
A feisty warm-up full to the brim with cards before the FA Cup clash between the Lancashire rivals on the 1st March please!
💰 Punt: Bobby Thomas Over 0.5 Shots, Bobby Thomas Over 1.5 Shots & Bobby Thomas Over 2.5 Shots
📗 Bookie: Bet365
🎲 Odds: 2.10 (11/10), 6.50 (11/2) & 19.00 (18/1)
⚽️ Game: Sheffield Wednesday vs. Coventry
Bobby Thomas has regained his shooting boots, after not having a shot since Boxing Day, the Coventry defender has registered 5 shots in his last 3 games, all of them coming with his noggin. Including his 94th minute winner last time out vs. QPR following Jack Rudoni’s corner.

Of course Coventry travel to Sheffield Wednesday, yada, yada, yada, the worst set-piece defending side in the history of mankind etc etc. I’d bore myself to death if I reeled off that goals conceded statistic again. IT’S SEVENTEEN (17) OKAY THEY’VE CONCEDED 17 GOALS FROM THEM.
PUNTS:
Bobby Thomas Over 0.5 Shots @ 2.10 (11/10) - Bet365
Bobby Thomas Over 1.5 Shots @ 6.50 (11/2) - Bet365
Bobby Thomas Over 2.5 Shots @ 19.00 (18/1) - Bet365
Bobby Thomas To Score a Header @ 29.00 (28/1) - Bet365 ⚽️
Thomas is best priced at 14/1 to score anytime with Bet365 and is as short as 15/2 in places. I think I’d prefer to back the 28/1 for Bobby Thomas to score a Header with Bet365 rather than the standard anytime goalscorer market.
Then it’s how do you play it? Jack Rudoni should be the main set-piece taker for Frank Lampard’s side, however, Matt Grimes, Luis Binks and Victor Torp have all created chances for Thomas in the past 3 games. Grimes likely only took the corner that led to a Thomas shot vs. Leeds because Rudoni had been subbed so I’m ruling him out. Luis Binks is his centre-half partner so he can sit this one out as well.
Let’s split our stakes, more bets for everybody!
Victor Torp is creating chances regardless of the set-piece rotation with Jack Rudoni, so let’s just hope both somehow win, eh? Scenes on toast.
So, for, example, if you’d usually stake £1, I’d advise 2 separate bets of 50p on the following below:
Jack Rudoni Anytime Assist & Bobby Thomas To Score a Header @ 86.00 (85/1) - Bet365 🤞
Victor Torp Anytime Assist & Bobby Thomas To Score a Header @ 141.00 (140/1) - Bet365 🇩🇰
💰 Punt: Nikola Katic Over 0.5 Shots & Nikola Katic Over 1.5 Shots
📗 Bookie: Bet365
🎲 Odds: 3.00 (2/1) & 11.00 (10/1)
⚽️ Game: Blackburn vs. Plymouth
Whilst playing for Zurich in the Swiss Super League, Plymouth’s new man mountain defender Nikola Katic registered 62 shots across 3 separate seasons. 18 of those shots were on target and the colossus centre-half got his name on the scoresheet on 7 different occasions. He had shots per90 averages of the following: 0.79, 0.76 and 1.14 in those 3 seasons in Switzerland. Not quite the short stay some of us may be hoping for in that country if he doesn’t shoot today.
Katic is about 6 foot 4 and scary, why would you even bother marking him? Just let him shoot, Blackburn. The Bosnian Beast had 2 shots in a goalmouth scramble as he put the cherry on the cake and scored his first Plymouth goal during their impressive 5-1 rout of Millwall. 🇧🇦
PUNTS:
Nikola Katic - Over 0.5 Shots @ 3.00 (2/1) - Bet365
Nikola Katic - Over 1.5 Shots @ 11.00 (10/1) - Bet365
Plymouth To Win & Nikola Katic Over 1.5 Shots @ 46.00 (45/1) - Bet365
#CheekyPunts:
Over 3 Cards for Preston & Over 3 Cards for Burnley @ 34.00 (33/1) - Bet365
Over 4 Cards for Preston & Over 4 Cards for Burnley @ 151.00 (150/1) - Bet365
Jack Rudoni Anytime Assist & Bobby Thomas To Score a Header @ 86.00 (85/1) - Bet365 🤞
Victor Torp Anytime Assist & Bobby Thomas To Score a Header @ 141.00 (140/1) - Bet365 🇩🇰
Plymouth To Win & Nikola Katic Over 1.5 Shots @ 46.00 (45/1) - Bet365 🇧🇦
Plymouth To Win, Conor Hazard To Be Booked & Nikola Katic Over 1.5 Shots @ 276.00 (275/1) - Bet365
