The Milwaukee Bucks and their drop coverage defence is the perfect match-up for opposing guards who have a bit of pace and a good mid-range shot. Which is practically perfect for Jalen Brunson, the Knicks starting PG as well as back up guard Immanuel Quickley. Brunson has 45, 24 and 36 points vs the Bucks so far this season which is probably the obvious play but his points line has been bumped up 3 since the two sides met the other night when Brunson’s line was set at 24.5.

So, why am I betting on the player who has 14, 7 & 7 points vs the same defence? Good question. Quickley is still getting the usage, it’s just a mixture of poor shot selection and his shot not falling. He only made 1/5 of his shots from 3-point range and 2/8 of his field goals attempted in total. Similarly in his other 7 point performance vs this Bucks defence he only made 1/7 of his FG’s. If he stays aggressive and steps up, he could surpass this line very easily. As shown in recent matches against the Lakers and Nets where he recorded 20 & 19 points respectively.

I think it’s a match-up that could see Jaylen Brown record a near double-double. Celtics big man Kristaps Porzingis should be busy boxing out Anthony Davis which should hopefully lead to Jaylen Brown cleaning up a couple of easy, uncontested defensive rebounds.
