💰 Bets: Rodri Over 1.5 Shots - BEST BET.
Rodri Over 1 Shot & Dumfries Over 1 Tackle
Rodri Over 2 Shots & Dumfries Over 2 Tackles
📗 Bookie: William Hill
🎲 Odds: 2.15 (23/20), 4.80 (19/5) & 19.00 (18/1)

For all of Man City’s dominance in possession that makes Keith from the pub angry that they’re keeping the ball rather than attacking at every opportunity, they can be quite a physically intimidating side and they tend to have a few efforts from distance. Rodri is a prime example of this. Only Haaland, De Bruyne and Gundogan are averaging more shots per game than Rodri in the Champions League this season for Man City. He’s had 2+ shots in 5/10 UCL starts. He also had 2+ shots in 15/33 PL starts when starting in midfield. Rodri to have Over 1 Shot is best priced with William Hill @ 2.15 (23/20).

  • Rodri Over 1 Shot - William Hill @ 2.15 (23/20)

  • Rodri Over 1.5 Shots - Bet365 @ 2.10 (11/10)

  • Rodri To Have 2 Or More Shots - Betfair/Paddy Power @ 2.00 (1/1)

  • Rodri 2+ Total Shots - SkyBet @ 1.83 (5/6)

I imagine Inter will try and defend quite deep and narrow forcing Man City to either test them from range or from crosses/set-pieces, both of which could see Rodri take advantage. He showed against Bayern Munich he can score from a distance with a beautiful goal outside the box with his weak foot and 33% of his shots this season in all competitions for club and country are headed attempts. 41.6% of his shots come from outside of the box.

Data taken from WhoScored, Rodri is averaging 1.2 shots per game in all competitions over 60 games this season excluding the 4 games he played in the FA Cup.

I’ll also be having a couple of larger-priced bet builders involving Rodri’s shots above and Inter’s right-wing back Denzel Dumfries to make a few tackles, likely tasked with stopping Jack Grealish. Dumfries has made 2+ tackles in 5 of his last 7 Serie A starts. Hitting 3+ in 3 of his last 7 domestic starts.
