Keep Bunting as King Charles would say!

Royally fucked if we don't get a winner...

Swansea vs West Brom, English Championship, Monday 8th May, 15:00.

Bet: Conor Townsend Over 0.5 Shots @ 2.20 (6/5) & Conor Townsend Over 1.5 Shots @ 7.00 (6/1) - Bet365

There’s nothing like random players you’d never expect to take and score from set pieces. So, when Conor Townsend scored a beautiful free-kick last weekend, I thought his free-kick ability may have been factored into the price of him having a shot but the odds for one measly attempt on goal in a game where they may need 4 or 5 goals to stand a chance of a play-off spot has reeled me in. 2.20 (6/5) for Townsend to have over 0.5 shots (Bet365) with the added possibility of free-kick duties looks a good bet to me. As always, have a little tickle on the 7.00 (6/1) for Townsend to have over 1.5 shots (Bet365) as well. The left-back has had 10 shots in his last 6 games, however, he did fail to have a shot in 2 games during this small sample size. (2,0,1,4,0,3). Throughout this season, he’s averaging 0.8 shots per game, a slight increase to 0.9 shots per 90 minutes.

League One Final Day Bets

Bet: Conor Chaplin & Jonson Clarke-Harris Both To Score Anytime @ 5.67 (4.67/1) - William Hill

Conor Chaplin (26 goals) has scored 10 goals in his last 8 games to overtake Jonson Clarke-Harris (25 goals) at the top of the League 1 goalscoring charts. Both teams need a win on the final day and I’m betting on both Ipswich & Peterborough’s main men to get on the scoresheet. Ipswich has an outside chance of winning the league but will need Plymouth to slip away at Port Vale. Similarly, Peterborough has an outside chance at sneaking in the playoffs but they’ll need Derby to either lose at Sheffield Wednesday and they win, or if Derby draw and they win, Peterborough will need a 3-goal-swing to gain the final playoff spot. A double of both players scoring 2 or more goals @ 77.00 (76/1) with William Hill is also worth a bet I feel.

Bet: Over 2 Peterborough Cards & Over 2 Derby Cards @ 9.37 (8.37/1) - Bet365

As mentioned above, these two sides will be battling it out for the final play-off spot in League 1. Game state is likely to come into play and could lead to a lot of time-wasting, cynical fouls and general all-around shithousery. Won’t bore you all with past data, it’s just a betting angle I like with what’s on the line for both sides. Will have a smaller bet on over 3 cards for each team @ 50.00 (49/1) as well, only Bet365 & Betfair/Paddy Power are priced up as of now as far as I can see.

Brazil Serie A Bets

  • Bahia vs Coritiba: Clevelario Bruno Gomes Over 1.5 Shots @ 2.75 (7/4) - Bet365

  • America MG vs Cuiaba: Oliveira Emerson Negueba Over 1.5 Shots @ 2.50 (6/4) - Bet365

  • Bet Builder double: 3 shots & 1 shot on target for both @ 117.00 (116/1)

Emerson Negueba has had shot totals of 2, 3 & 2 so far.
Bruno Gomes shot totals: 2, 2 & 3. Negative that he’s been subbed in every game so far.

Stockport vs Hartlepool, English League 2, Monday 8th May, 12:30.

Bet: Edon Pruti To Be Carded @ 4.75 (15/4) & Edon Pruti & Jack Hamilton To Be Carded @ 29.00 (28/1) - Bet365

I fully understand if people would be looking to back unders, or not back cards at all here considering Hartlepool essentially relegated themselves the other week at home to Crawley, only to then go and beat 9th-placed Barrow. Having said that, there are a few too many idiots on the pitch and I’m gonna have to back Edon Pruti to pick up a yellow card @ 4.75 (15/4) with Bet365. The game is on Sky Sports so others may price up at better odds than this but other bookies are yet to do so. Since joining Pools in January, Pruti has 7 yellows in 20 starts and is fairly rash in his challenges. Striker Jack Hamilton has been booked in his last 3 and makes a tidy double with Pruti at 29.00 (28/1) if he is to start.
