Friday Night Football: Leicester vs. Nottingham Forest
đź’° Punt: Nottingham Forest Over 17.5 Tackles
đź“— Bookie: Bet365
🎲 Odds: 1.83 (5/6)
⚽️ Game: Leicester vs. Nottingham Forest
Friday Night Football sees Steve Cooper face off with his former employers for the first time since leaving the City Ground last December. Forest have made a great start to the new Premier League campaign under Cooper’s successor, Nuno Espirito Santo and are currently sitting pretty in 8th on 13 points, only losing 1 of their 8 PL games. Leicester finally got over the hump against Bournemouth on Matchday 7 and followed that up with a dramatic injury-time winner from Jordan Ayew to complete their comeback and win 3-2 from 2-0 down vs. Southampton on Matchday 8. They’ll be brimming with confidence and looking to record a third consecutive victory on derby day (well, night) as they host East Midlands rivals, Nottingham Forest at the King Power Stadium tonight.

Leicester’s opponents in the Premier League have been racking up the tackles this season:
Tottenham - 23 tackles (45 match tackles)
Fulham - 14 tackles (35 match tackles)
Aston Villa - 17 tackles (39 match tackles)
Crystal Palace - 24 tackles (43 match tackles)
Everton - 18 tackles (42 match tackles)
Arsenal - 19 tackles (43 match tackles)
Bournemouth - 22 tackles (36 match tackles)
Southampton - 21 tackles (51 match tackles)
Nottingham Forest are currently averaging 16.8 tackles per game, which surprisingly ranks 17th in the Premier League. Nottingham Forest Over 17.5 Tackles @ 1.83 (5/6) with Bet365 is my first bet tonight. It’s a bet that has won for Leicester’s opposition 6/8 times this season, with Aston Villa falling one short. The added intensity of a local rivalry will hopefully see the tackles numbers increase in our favour.
đź’° Punt: Alex Moreno To Be Booked
đź“— Bookie: Bet365
🎲 Odds: 5.00 (4/1)
⚽️ Game: Leicester vs. Nottingham Forest
Whether it’s Jordan Ayew or Facundo Buonanotte starting on Leicester City’s right wing, the likelihood is Alex Moreno will be in for a busy night. Jordan Ayew has been one of the most fouled players in the Premier League for several years especially during his time at Crystal Palace, that trend has continued since moving to Leicester as he’s the Foxes’ most fouled player so far (4.2 times per90), Argentine attacking midfielder Buonanotte ranks high in the same metric (2.3 times per90). The Brighton loanee gives as good as he gets, committing 11 fouls and has won 12 fouls so far in 463 PL minutes. Similarly, Ghanaian international Ayew has committed 8 fouls and has won 18 fouls in just 382 PL minutes.
The 5.00 (4/1) for Alex Moreno to be booked with Bet365 is my second bet here. If it’s Ayew that Moreno is tasked with stopping, he played against him once whilst at Aston Villa. The Spanish left-back committed 4 fouls in 70 minutes and received a yellow card. Ayew was fouled 3 times and subbed off after 75 minutes.
Moreno is priced similarly at all leading bookmakers to commit 2 or more fouls tonight. Ranging anywhere between 2.50 (6/4) & 2.75 (7/4). Which will form part of my lottery ticket for the evening.
