Hodge Your Bet 🔵⚪️
💰 Punt: Alexis Mac Allister 1+ Shots On Target From Outside The Box & Alexis Mac Allister 2+ Shots On Target From Outside The Box
📗 Bookie: SkyBet
🎲 Odds: 5.00 (4/1) & 29.00 (28/1)
⚽️ Game: Brentford vs. Liverpool
Liverpool have had more shots from outside the box than any other team in Europe this season. Of the 457 shots they’ve had in the Premier League, 174 of those have come from distance. On the other hand, 39% of the shots that Brentford concede are from outside the penalty area.

Alexis Mac Allister has had 17 shots in the Premier League for Jurgen Klopp’s side and all 17 have been from range. I’d love nothing more than a shin roller or two to trickle into the keeper’s arms from 25 yards out. SkyBet has the Argentine World Cup winner priced at 5.00 (4/1) to hit the target from outside the area and it’s priced at 29.00 (28/1) for the former Brighton man to do it twice. Early kick-off and nothing else that tickles my fancy. Feels right!
💰 Punt: Fabian Schar Anytime Goalscorer
📗 Bookie: Unibet
🎲 Odds: 11.00 (10/1)
⚽️ Game: Newcastle vs. Bournemouth
Callum Wilson has torn his tit. That’s not a typo. His tits are torn. After an injury-time wrestling match with Moussa Niakhate in the 3-2 victory over Nottingham Forest he’s managed to tear his pectoral and faces up to 3 months on the sidelines. What a tit.

With the Bournemouth game coming too soon for Swedish forward Alexander Isak, this should mean that penalties are up for grabs. Excluding shootouts, only Wilson, Isak and Chris Wood have taken penalties for Newcastle under Eddie Howe’s reign. My guess would be Fabian Schar steps up if Newcastle are to be awarded a spot-kick. The Swiss international has taken 10 penalties in his career, netting 8 of those. He was a regular penalty-taker during his time at Basel where he scored 6 out of 8 penalties. He’s also took one for Switzerland and bagged from 12 yards for the Toon back in May 2021 vs Fulham. Skip to 1:45 to see Schar calmly slot home https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_CfVssoeMw.
Schar is in great goalscoring form as it is, netting 3 times in his last 3 games. With the added possibility of penalty duties, 11.00 (10/1) with Unibet is a great price.
💰 Punt: Joseph Hodge Over 1.5 Shots
📗 Bookie: Bet365
🎲 Odds: 4.00 (3/1)
⚽️ Game: Bristol City vs. QPR
Wolves loanee Joe Hodge has played 3 games for the R’s since joining for the remainder of the 2023/24 campaign on deadline day.
He scored as a second-half substitute on his debut with his only shot and has registered two shots in both of his starts.

Blackburn - 33 mins, 1 shot (goal)
Norwich - 66 mins, 2 shots
Stoke - 90 mins, 2 shots
QPR boss Marti Cifuentes looks to have given Hodge more freedom to get forward and play off fellow Irishman Sinclair Armstrong judging by both of their average positions on the SofaScore app.
Bristol City are rightful favourites and are coming off the back of an impressive 3-1 victory over promotion hopefuls Southampton, which ended their club record 25-game unbeaten run. However, this should hopefully lead to QPR chasing the game and a couple of Hodge attempts at goal to boot.
Joseph Hodge to have Over 1.5 Shots @ 4.00 (3/1) with Bet365 is my punt here.
💰 Punt: Kieffer Moore To Score Anytime & To Be Carded
📗 Bookie: Betfair/Paddy Power
🎲 Odds: 14.00 (13/1)
⚽️ Game: Swansea vs. Ipswich
A former Cardiff City striker playing in front of Swansea’s home crowd. As Gareth Keenan famously said “That’ll be a quiet night in at the library…NOT!”

Another deadline day loan signing, Welsh forward Moore has joined the Tractor Boys from Bournemouth for the rest of the season. He’s hit the ground running with 3 goals in as many appearances. He’s had 10 shots since his arrival and 6 of those have come with his head, scoring twice with his noggin. Kieffer Moore is best priced at 2.87 (15/8) to score anytime with Bet365 & he’s 8.00 (7/1) to score a header with the same bookmaker.
Ipswich face a Swansea side in transition under new boss Luke Williams and they’ve shown some defensive fragility in recent weeks, it doesn’t get any easier for the Swans as they face an Ipswich side who are joint-third highest scorers in the division and come into this brimming with confidence after slotting four past a hapless Millwall side.
Moore’s card record is much more impressive at the International level, however, if he is to score against Swansea, he may take the chance to wind up the Jack Army and get booked for an excessive celebration.
Kieffer Moore to score and be booked is best priced at 14.00 (13/1) with Betfair/Paddy Power, it’s a touch shorter with Bet365 at 13.00 (12/1)
💰 Punt: Jules Kounde Over 0.5 Shots & Jules Kounde Over 1.5 Shots
📗 Bookie: Bet365
🎲 Odds: 2.50 (6/4) & 9.00 (8/1)
⚽️ Game: Celta Vigo vs. Barcelona
Over the past 2 seasons at Barcelona, Jules Kounde has started right-back 24 times in La Liga, he’s had 17 shots from the position in that period. In his most recent stint of La Liga games as a right-back, Kounde has registered 5 shots in 5 games. Having 1+ shots in 3/5 of those games and 2+ shots in 2/5.
Jules Kounde Over 0.5 Shots @ 2.50 (6/4) - Bet365
Jules Kounde Over 1.5 Shots @ 9.00 (8/1) - Bet365
