Ivan Toney’s 8 month suspension from football has started so there will be more responsibility on the rest of the squad to pick up the attacking output that’ll be sorely missed without him. Damsgaard has had 6 shots across his last 2 PL starts vs West Ham (4) and Nottm Forest (2). A very small, biased sample size to convince myself I know what I’m doing, but without Toney last week, Brentford had 24 efforts against West Ham. Hertha Berlin currently sit bottom of the Bundesliga on 25 points, 5 points adrift of the relegation play-off place & 6 points adrift of guaranteed safety, the place Saturday’s opponents, Bochum, currently occupy. With only 2 games left of the season, Hertha Berlin are all but relegated barring a Sheffield Wednesday-esque turnaround.

The best derby in Europe takes place on Sunday night, always well worth a watch. Just a shame Nabil Fekir is injured! Card odds are generally pretty dreadful but I’ll be having a pop at a player card here.

Since joining Real Betis in January, Ayoze Perez has committed 25 fouls in 13 La Liga starts, picking up 3 yellow cards along the way, averaging 2.1 fouls per 90 minutes. He’s currently best priced at 6.50 (11/2) with Betfair and Paddy Power to be shown a card. SkyBet and William Hill are yet to price player cards, so it may be worth keeping an eye out for their prices before Sunday night. I’d be surprised if he is much bigger elsewhere, the 11/2 looks a generous price for a player who has the highest fouls per90 for Real Betis this season. Ayoze Perez gets his first experience of the Seville derby and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him end up in Jesus Gil Manzano’s notebook.

You could make an argument for any player on the pitch to commit a foul here. Hopefully it’s a similar scenario to the Milan derby during the week where every outfield player committed a foul!
